Can't wait til Mike Hunt jumps back on our nuts and does a reverse from his prediction that UWM will exit the tourney early.

Hunt is in San Diego... any column he does will be MU based. Too bad Hofmann retired.

He could fly the Jacksonville and write about how we'll be forfeiting the game against Florida three minutes after it starts

Wow...is all I can say...also upset as well. Cause one I cant watch the UCLA Game and second CBS 58 had more coverage on a MU lost than the Milwaukee Win....
WHEN WILL THIS CITY LEARN!

It's hard to cover a team when you don't have anyone at the game site.

From the OU Fan forum
Before the game in their game prediction thread: William Brazky posted
"I don't know about this game. Haven't seen UWM play.
Arthur Fonzarelli lived in Milwaukee. By that logic I'd say it's going to be a tough game."
After the game he posted:
"Fonzie won. Fonzie always wins. Fonzie is cool.
Today, I damn Fonzie.
I'll be in hiding for a while due to that last statement."

Nice win guys. Im man enough to admit when i was wrong. I did not see all of the game since I was working, but from what I saw it looked like Davis played a huge game for you. Well congrats I think it ends here. But thats what I said last time so I guess we will see.

It's hard to cover a team when you don't have anyone at the game site. They did. Rock Rote was there for the game today and will stay for Saturday's game. They aired a short interview with Rob from right after the game. But I do agree, it seems like the emphasis was put on Marquette losing, although the UWM coverage wasn't horrible. It was a great game and a great crowd at the Gasthaus!

The emphasis was on MU on all the stations. The CBS 58 reporter was really bad, almost consoling the MU fans pointing out that they had such a great season and nothing to be ashmed of (other than losing to a weaker version of the team we beat last year)

The CBS 58 reporter was really bad, almost consoling the MU fans pointing out that they had such a great season and nothing to be ashmed of (other than losing to a weaker version of the team we beat last year) yea, noticed while watching The Office they had a preview of the 10:00 news saying "Marquette fans are getting over a tough loss in the NCAA Tournament. more on this on the 10:00 news." what is that? noticed it on too many stations. sad really. also noticed it with the mid-day update on CBS. UWM-OU was the last game they talked about, and they didn't say anything besides "UWM will lose to FL anyways". at least we respect us.
