Isn't it wonderful to see the ninth place teams in the Big East whining about not making it. What a joke.

Good points TBone...and while 6-11 isn't heavy underdog...we still won't be projected to win...which believe it or not makes us underdogs

and i think we should worry about their coach as well...Sampson is a good coach and he'll have enough time to have his squad prepared

Although we are not sneaking up on anyone this year we are still going to be dogs, one line on vegas.com has OU -3, let the games begin.
Quote from Jeter on the Panthers site:
On sneaking up on people as the underdog
"I think people understand the run that this team had last year. I am sure that people have been watching a lot of games just like I have been. I don't think we are going to sneak up on anyone but neither is any other team. I mean, you have the best 65 teams at this point of the season ... there are no secrets."

Received word through a friend who will be working the game for CBS that Tim Brando and I believe Mike Gminski will be calling the game on TV.

ESPN has our gametime as 12:30 pm ET so 11:30 our time. Pretty much the same as last year. Somewhat confused though because according to ESPN MU's game starts at 10:40 our time...i'm assuming it's actually 10:40 PM since they're out west.

I'm thinking it is local time at that venue. So UWM plays at 11:30 our time and Marquette plays at 1:40 pm. The Cox Arena (San Diego) bracket has the latest games on. They have the crappy 4 o'clock game that no one cares about. Hence why Marquette plays the earleir game, but at 1:40.

If it's local time, Marquette will play at 2:40 p.m. Milwaukee time ... San Diego is two hours behind Milwaukee.
Looks like UWM is kicking things off again this year ... I don't mind that at all.
