Watching the greatest team ever, the powerhouse known as Farleigh Dickinson University take on Monmouth in the Northeast Conference Tourney final on ESPN2 right now.
Take notes poor man.

This is one of the ugliest basketball games I have watched. If Fairleigh Dickinson is better than any team in the Horizon League then I expect us to be in the play in game. 18-56 shooting on the night so far... these guys are so good  . Wow and Monmouth just went coast to coast and beat them! HA what a horrible team. Monmouth better be ranked after this because Fairleigh Dickinson is amazing. Art Vandelay |

Monmouth is now officially better than anyone in the Horizon League, the ACC, the Big East, the Big Ten, the 89-90 UNLV Runnin Rebels, the 95-96 Kentucky Wildcats, any team John Wooden coached at UCLA and the original Dream Team.

But why would Monmouth do that? That would be such a step down for them. They really need to go independent so they can set their own schedule. UNC, Duke, UConn, all those schools would beg Monmouth for a shot at that big money game.

I was thinking of FD not Monmouth. Since they beat FD, they're ACC material.
Course we'd be a huge step down for FD but it's worth a try

i hope FDU joins the Big East b/c they could start a rivalry w/ Rutgers that could be parallel to Duke/UNC.

I hear Duke, UNC, Wake Forest, Texas, U Con, and Kansas are sending a delegation to FDU begging them to move to another country so they won't eclipse the traditional BB powers here.  |

This just in...the namesake for FDU, a man named Fairleigh Dickinson, has usurped George W. Bush as President of the United States of America. He immediately appoints the coach his Secretary of Defense, because ain't NOBODAY gonna take us on while he is in charge.
