I don't know if any of the guys from the team visit here or not, but if you do...
First off, I know we're not done yet, and I hope no one thinks this is too premature. But last night was the last time we will see this group play here in Milwaukee, and the last time I will be able to see you guys play in person.
So, I'd just like to take this time to say...THANKS!!...for these last few years. It's been an unforgettable ride. It's truly been a joy to watch you guys play.
Best of luck to all of you in the future.
Again...THANKS!!!
But like I said, we're not done, and we're not ready to let you guys go yet. So hopefully you all have a few more games left in you.

Driving into work today, listening to Mike & Mike on ESPN Radio, Bill Johnson's call of the final seconds was replayed during their "SportsCenter" update:
“Get the Lawrence Welk out! Get the Jerry Vale out! These seniors are dancing!”
Nice. ;D

But like I said, we're not done, and we're not ready to let you guys go yet. So hopefully you all have a few more games left in you. Let's just hope they have, say, um, about 6 wins left in them? I'd say a national championship would send them off right, and the conference may be looked at a bit differently in the future.

They will all be missed....
I have never been more proud to say that I was born and raised in Milwaukee, when it came to talking about Panther Basketball.
You will be missed, never forgotten....

When I was at UWM we had to fight to keep the Atheltic fee. I remember someone who wanted to take us to Division III asking me why I cared so much, my answer was that some day people will actually care, that someday the Panthers could be a source of pride for the entire city. He laughed and said I was nuts.
Thanks to these guys, that has happened. I couldn't be prouder!

Wow....I hope the players do check in here, because I think a thanks is an understatement. I have been a Panther fan for quite a while, and I have NEVER been so sad to see a season end.....This is a GREAT group of guys to whom the future of Panther basketball owes a great debt of gratitude! I am so proud of what they have acheived, and could NEVER be more proud to wear my panther gear. After Saturday's loss, and the shedding of quite a few tears to see their college bball careers come to an end, I was so proud to be out in my jersey!
THANK YOU GUYS!!!

UWM owes these seniors so much for what they have done for our school. They have represented the school, the city and the state so well the past couple years. It was with great sadness that I watched them play their final game but these seniors have opened up our program to things that we could have never even expected 5 or 10 years ago. It's going to be hard to move on, but I will always remember the impact they had for UWM!
