Lets recall back to the 2002-2003 Horizon League Tournament when UW-Milwaukee hosted the Butler Bulldogs. The Panthers exploded out to a 14-0 lead in the opening minutes of the game. However, Todd Lickliters post game comments included:
"I don't know what else we could do," Bulldogs coach Todd Lickliter said. "We were 'rewarded' for the conference championship (by spending) six days in a hotel and then playing basically in front of a home crowd against a great team."
Well Coach, let us know how you feel being rewarded for a runner-up finish in the regular season with six more days in a hotel in the same city you lost the championship 3 seasons ago!
This is the "X" factor tonight! UWM by 6 based on Lickliters comments!

Sometime Lickliter really pisses me off...other times he's a class act. This little blurb from 2003 makes him a cry-baby in my book. Have fun in the NIT!

give the guy props. He made no excuses after last night's game and complimented our Milwaukee Panthers.

Just a reminder ... we can watch the most talented team in the Horizon League tonight as Fairleigh Dickinson plays Monmouth in the NEC championship.
I'm sure po' man's coach k will be salivating at the sight.

There's no doubt that every college BB fan in the country will be watching that. I expect FD to beat them a zillion to zip. That's if Monmouth even shows up. After all it's an open secret that FD is soooo good it's been guaranteed a spot in the Final Four by the selection committee

The whole thing about his time-out being a class move...? I don't get it. He just wanted to get his players off the court safely...I don't see how it had anything to do with class. It was nice that he shook Tigert's hand and Jeter's but he should have a good time in the NIT!
