I just wanted to say that I was rather disappointed when I saw 100+ students flood out of the student section of Saturday's game with over 5 minutes left to play in the second half. What's the deal?
Overall, though, I must say that I have been impressed with the student section this year compared to past years. It's nice to see that they are cheering along with the cheerleaders and the band, even though there seems to be a smaller base than in years past. Thanks for the effort you diehards have put in. It definitely shows.
GO PANTHERS!

Just from hearing the people around me, there was no desire to wait outside for busses, which have been known to take near an hour. The game was clearly in hand, and they felt it to be appropriate to head on out.

I stayed for the "Roll out the Barrell." It took us at least 20-30 minutes to get out of the parking ramp. Given that we weren't rushing the court and only so many people can lineup to shake players hands, they are free to leave.
I'm happy they came.

Just an observation..... but it seems like the guys up front by the band have a problem....They start cheers, and everybody joins along...but when a group of guys a few rows back, over by the UWM bench starts a cheer....half of the student section joins in...but nobody upfront by the band..... What is the deal? just an observation..........
I guess the bottom line is that the student section represented tonight...and will continue to make some noise on tuesday....Go Panthers

the mass exodus was really lame. so many kids were bailing it was a distraction from the game. I guess I can't expect everybody to be over the top into it, but I just don't understand how many people show up late and leave early. It's not a Lakers game. If the busses are that bad, the students could find their own way downtown like everybody else if they want to see the game.

BTW, sorry if that sounded too negative. Overall I thought it was just awesome to see and hear so many students in full March Madness mode - I just hope everyone gets there earlier and stays for the whole game on Tuesday.

I'm pretty sure no one will bail on Tuesday, they wouldn't want to miss the meeting at 10:00pm Center court!!!!!!

I along with others such as 6th man and fan stayed till after they played roll out the barrell but this is because i got sick of waiting an hour and a half for busses after the game and started driving to the Cell my self... on a better not i'm planning on getting to the game on tuesday at around 4 seeing as how my class got cancelled tuesday night and as much as we like having the ESPN crowd there... i dont want them taking my spot in the front row like last year...

fan, what did that a-hole security guard tell you when u were shaking it like a polaroid picture? He said "Don't do that again". I don't exactly know what he meant by that or if he was just too aroused to see anymore of my show. Either way, I talked to Chuck Lang at Halftime and he said to just keep doing what I'm doing and if they come up to me, to nod my head until they leave. Chuck Lang becomes Instant Beast. In short, I hope to find a little different piece of clothing for Tuesday. Don't worry about it being any less revealing.
