This year in the Horizon League, I'd say 50/50 is about right for any of the games on Saturday. Whom exactly can you count on there?
Buler/Detroit 50/50
Loyola/YSU 50/50
WSU/UIC 50/50
UWGB/CSU 50/50
All seems about right, to me. Toss a coin on any of 'em.

That's probably right (50/50 on all the games). Unfortuantely, that means the odds of getting the three team parlay (if Butler beats Detroit) that would still give us the HT are, well, bupkis.

well, one day away from knowing our fate. here's to hoping Detroit does us a HUGE favor by knocking of Futler. Thankfully they have an awful lot to play for, of course so does everyone else. frankly, there's probably not a better scenario in terms of where BU has to go play. they're hot, but we all know Detroit is tuff as hell at home.
tomorrow's going to be interesting to say the least. even if we have to travel to Indy I like our chances. Butler played probably as well as they could against us last time and it still took a miracle to beat us. should, Boo, Alan, or anyone else step up and make threes we win going away. i think this team found itself, once again this last game. let's hope that's true.

That is the one scenario that is the ABSOLUTE WORST for GB, because it sends GB on the road in the first round. I wouldn't be as mad if the lines were all true. At least GB gets a first round home game. |
