Here are my predictions for Horizon League Awards:
First Team Quin Humphrey, YSU Blake Schilb, LU DaShaun Wood, WSU Brandon Cotton, Detroit Joah Tucker, UWM
Second Team Brandon Polk, BU Ryan Evanochko, UWGB Boo Davis, UWM Adrian Tigert, UWM Majak Kou, LU
Player of the Year: Quin Humphrey, YSU Newcomer of the Year: (tie) Leon Young, LU & Othyus Jeffers, UIC Defensive Player of the Year: Majak Kou, LU
I struggled with Cotton and Polk for first team or second team.

I would have to say that Polk will be on the first team. Cotton down to second

I wouldn't disagree...that is how I originally had it.

Honestly, since I think Polk needs to be first team I would drop Schilb over Cotton. While AT played like first team, who do you replace him with then is my only problem.

Here are my predictions for Horizon League Awards: Player of the Year: Quin Humphrey, YSU There's NO way that Quin Humphrey from YSU will get POY. It will go to the team that is the regular season champions!! So, if Butler loses one of its last two games, it would probably go to Joah Tucker. Otherwise, if UWM and Butler are co-champions, who knows who it will go to!!

No, I don't think that Quin Humphrey is a first-team selection. If YSU sixth or higher, it's possible. Otherwise, no, he's not.
Here's my predictions:
Player of the Year: Brandon Polk (Butler) Newcomer of the Year: Leon Young (Loyola) Defensive Player of the Year: Majak Kou (Loyola) Coach of the Year: Todd Lickliter (Butler)
First Team Blake Schilb (Loyola) DaShaun Wood (Wright State) Brandon Cotton (Detroit) Joah Tucker (UWM) Brandon Polk (Butler)
Second Team Quin Humphrey (YSU) Ryan Evanochko (UWGB) Boo Davis (UWM) Adrian Tigert (UWM) Majak Kou (LU)
Defensive Team Majak Kou (Loyola) Terry Evans (UWGB) DaShaun Wood (Wright State) Brandon Polk (Butler) Othyus Jeffers (UIC)
Newcomer Team Leon Young (Loyola) Ije Nwanko (Cleveland State) Othyus Jeffers (UIC) Mike Schactner (UWGB) Josh Mayo (UIC)

I guess I cant see Schilb being on first team because his team underachieved this year

Speaking before the Bracket Buster game on Saturday with Ed McCants and Bud Haidet, it was brought up with the possibility that DaShaun Wood might win POTY honors. Possible, considering his team did well.

I think Avo deserves consideration for the Defensive Team of the year.

Now that the regular season is complete, here's my picks:
First Team Quin Humphrey, Youngstown State Blake Schilb, Loyola DaShaun Wood, Wright State Brandon Cotton, Detroit Joah Tucker, UWM
Second Team Brandon Polk, Butler Ryan Evanochko, UW-Green Bay Boo Davis, UWM Adrian Tigert, UWM Majak Kou, Loyola
Player of the Year: Joah Tucker, UWM (Hard to see someone on the last place team get the POTY award, even though his numbers are deserving)
Coach of the Year: Todd Lickliter, Butler Newcomer of the Year: Othyus Jeffers, UIC Defensive Player of the Year: Majak Kou, Loyola
