Its always worth asking the recruits if they want to come to UDM. I suppose the talk on our board is about as funny as the talk on this one about how the Panthers are going to leave us small-timers in the Horizon League behind and head off to the Big 10.

no yours is funnier b/c you guys KEEP thinking that guys might wanna go to UDM over Mich. State, UCONN, Louisville or other top programs simply b/c you are in Detroit. I can't simply imagine why they'd not choose a school that can almost never get 3,000 ppl to a game sure there were a few who thought the Big 10 was a possibility but you obviously didn't read all of those responses that said that option wasn't possible. and besides, when was the last time someone talked about moving to the Big 10, last summer?

Um, so I guess you didn't read the replies on our board that told people to stop dreaming? Fact is, UDM recuits the guys that head off to bigger schools because some of them find themselves unhappy and come back. That recuiting, I think, leads to some of the talk on our board.
I don't know when the last time you guys were headed to the Big 10. But it wasn't so long ago that you guys couldn't get a few thousand in the stands either.

I used to work in a building with some women who would always wear her UDM leather jacket when going out for a smoke.
I always wanted to kick her.

The Steve and Barry's style?
I'm all for school spirit and all, but those jackets are not attractive, to say the least.

alright, so anyone brave enough to make a prediction? the way Milwaukee's played the last 2 i'd say it's hard to predict anything at this point. withouth AT it'll be a struggle but i still say milwaukee wins by 6, 74-68. big performances from joah and chris keep milwaukee up for most of the game but not enough to make it comfortable. i'm gonna guess we get a crowd in the 6,000 range, which honestly would be disappointing as these seniors deserve a sell-out.

I'm actually bringing someone tonight who will be rooting for Detroit. My buddy here at work went to Detroit. To give you an idea of how old he is, when he went there, Vitale was the coach. does he talk about how UDM should go after all of those 4 and 5-star prospects around Detroit like the dumbasses on their board do? that's always a good laugh. No. He doesn't really follow them that closely anymore. A wife and kids will do that to you.

Hitting the Ale house for a few and some dinner, then on to the game.

Tigert was a non-entity in the last game.
Don't forget, this is at our house...2 game home losing streak doesn't mean anything if the student section truly is the 6th man.

If we figure out a way to not step out of bounds and make layups - as well as everybody thought McCoy played on Saturday, he missed some HUGE layups down the stretch - we'll be fine.
That said, that -10 spread is ludicrously high.
