well, if AT does sit here's something positive to consider. in our victory at Detroit he was virtually a non-factor scoring only 5 points and grabbing only 1 rebound. of course D-Ford stepped up and played arguably his best game as a Panther. let's hope D can step up on senior night and do it once again.
i can't wait to salute this group of seniors tonight. should be special to watch. i hope the place is deafeningly loud throughout the game, especially during intros!

Detriot has been a problem for UWM @ the Cell the last 3-4 times the two have met, I suspect this is going to be a lot closer game then many seem to think. Is there any chance AT is playing, or is he out for sure? This game is a must win if there ever was one.
Also, does Butler control their own fate? Not sure if things have changed since the last thread on the HL Tourney tiebreakers. Surely someone out there has all the possible scenerio's worked out....

I posted this in another thread...
Does anyone know when they will acknowledge the seniors tonight?
I want to make sure I'm in my seats for that.

Butler only "sort of" controls their own fate. even if they win out, should GB lose at CSU and Loyola win out, then we'd have the tiebreaker. so, they're closer to owning their fate then we are.
AT's status is still up in the air.

Someone pointed it out either here or another thread, but at Detroit AT did not give us much then either. I believe someone at the time of the game said he had the flu real bad. I think playing a game now without him and having another few days to practice and prepare with him out will only be a benefit to the team in this game.
Its senior night and these guys will play with pride. UWM by 10+ tonight as they do it for themselves and for the fans that have been behind them for the last sevearl years watching them raise our program by leaps and bounds.

If we are going off of paper UWM is the better team but if we are going off of past performances UWM doesn't look like the better team. They look like a team that isn't playing well right now and that worries me. End of Febuary coming fast and March is the time to be playing your best basketball so I'm really looking foward to tonight to see if the Panthers can really put together a solid outing going into the postseason. This is the last conference game but from this point on it could be the last game of the year and it's time for this SR. laden team to step it up. Go Panthers.

I believe that the senior program will take place before the game like last year.

I believe that the senior program will take place before the game like last year. I'm sure it will be before the game. I just hope they do it right before tip off and not at like 6:30 or earlier.

AT only having 5 points and a couple boards in the first game doesn't matter. AT brings so many non-boxscore things to this team that could never be measured. That's one of the reasons we're missing him so much.
That being said, we have to stay out of foul trouble. We can't have prolonged periods of time where Joah and Boo aren't on the court at the same time. One of them has to be out there w/ a Chris Hill or someone at all times otherwise our offense is horrible.
D Ford and J McCoy have to board tonight.
Hopefully a good showing tonight to send the seniors out in style.

I just called the ticket office. It will be right before the start of the game. So I'm thinking if you're there at 6:45 that should be right on time.

i thik it will be Walt "Cylde" frazier style if AT goes tonite, i really don't see him or Messiah playing in this one which as well all know will make it that much tougher. WE NEED FANS!!!! everyoine tell five or ten people or hell tell thrity or fourty and come in groups bring as many people as you can get the house rocking, that way we can help try and make up for the loses that we have to the team, let's be that sixth man tonite....come on guys.....
LET"S GO PANTHERS!!!!

I'm actually bringing someone tonight who will be rooting for Detroit.
My buddy here at work went to Detroit. To give you an idea of how old he is, when he went there, Vitale was the coach.
