Ed wasn't comfortable from the first minute...in fact he looked awful his first few games, especially on the defensive end. But Ed worked hard and became comfortable and became a very good defender and once he became comfortable...a lights out shooter. Boo didn't look like much at first either and he sat out a year here. If anybody thinks Avery looks comfortable, wow, I have to wonder how many games you have actually watched, he is constantly out of control and the only shot he has is the out of control runner. Tyrone looks to me like he is very tentative and always afraid to make a mistake (aka looking at the bench to see if he is getting pulled). Remember Avery played with the guys all summer and probably knew some from high school. Tyrone didnt sign until August. I don't know if Tyrone is ever going to be a good D1 player for us, but if he gets comfortable and just plays, he may surprise a lot people. He put up too good of numbers at a very good juco (Vincennes - alma mater of Shawn Marion) to be really as bad as he has shown this year. To me the biggest adjustment for him, which I believe limited his playing time at the start of the season is his defense.
