With the success of the team over the last few years, the local media coverage has been more and more present.
Good things were supposed to happen when WMLW started to broadcast.
That hasn't happened. Even if you decide to forget the CSU game, their production crew is god awful. Worst camera work in the history of mankind, and while I am a huge fan of Daron Sutton, basketball is too exciting for his style of commentating. And I can't count how many times I've heard "The five in black"
Rock Rote's pregame show rocks, but that is IT. The producer needs to get his/her ass in gear, or get thrown out.

Jimmy, what do you mean that "basketball is too exciting for his style of commentating?" I'm having some difficulty understanding where you're going with that.

Lets not get picky
We are on TV and we are able to watch it which is a hell of a lot more than we had several years ago...We were just happy when we got radio coverage much less TV time
I think they are doing a nice job thus far

That's correct. Eleven years ago, not every game was available on radio. Now, the program has at least six locally originated TV broadcasts, as many as three games a year on the ESPN family of networks and every single league road game available via Internet feed. (I'm assuming that you get to all the home games.) What more do you want? Frankly, it wouldn't benefit UWM at this stage to have its home games aired on local TV. IMHO, Daron is terrific for this program on several levels. Note his enthusiasm over jdbrew's Senior Night letter.

exactly it makes 0 sense to braodcast home games. we want people to fill the seats not sit on them at home and stare at the boob tube.

Sux tho that it's only in the Milwaukee area. Even here in OSHkosh we don't get the games. Pisses me off.

I hate WMLW. We have to pay them to broadcast our games. That is a crock of sh*t. It should be the other way around, we should get more if not all away games. Hopefully FSN can pick us up next year.

Anytime you are producing a broadcast, you pay for the air time, but you also sell commercial time to sponsors so it may be a wash for us financially.

Yes we do pay WMLW but I like Sutton...worst camera angles????Im sure they play the card the arena deals them...I sometimes think your bantering if pointless and directed in the wrong direction

Did you not watch the Loyola game? The camera man at the end of the floor was half-blocked by the hoop support. I'm pretty sure the arena setup doesn't prevent him from moving 2 feet.

no but they are not WMLW's camera men...in general it was the arena ie its staff etc...the camera men are not WMLW's they are the same camera men who do the internet feed...its just pointless to b**** about it because attendance is at an all time high, we are getting more media coverage than ever before and people wanna b****. I dont understand it, sure there is room for improvement but all the criticism isnt constructive as it is destructive.....get a clue

The Loyola game was broadcast by Comcast, which I think is Loyola's broadcaster
