Boo Davis is hitting a wall in the last few games...
He had 20+ points in 4 straight games, but against WSU and so far this afternoon...he's not himself.

Boo Davis only played what; like 5 minutes did he even have a shot I know he didn't play any defense.

not sure what to make of this so far. good defensive effort on the perimeter, besides Boo falling asleep on that one possession. we can't be giving up the easy inside looks though.
in a possession game we better be playing from the lead cause points will be hard to come by.

Tucker should be banned from shots that are further away than 5 ft. Hill's 3 was not needed but Pancratz not shooting a 3 was a good move. still don't get why he was in there at the end. we need to make some goddamn 3 pointers. Boo had what? 1 attempt?

Butler 24, UWM 23. Bad shot selection, NO intensity. Luckily Joah seems to be taking it inside, which gives us hope. Get Massiah out of there! Way too negative. Panthers play much better than they have played at Wright State. Butler is a much tougher opponenet that WSU. |

Indeed but there's alot of silly mistakes on the defensive end that have made this game close. IMO Butler is not doing anything offensively that warrants them getting the ball on the blocks that easily, and it's UWM's defensive that is letting them down not Butler's offense. Offensively could be better a couple bad shots (Joah) but not as many as I've seen in previous games. Getting it inside going into the second will open up the outside shots, hopefully boo or someone can knock down one or two of these shots to soften up the inside d. Only down 1 which is not bad. |
