Wow, could have this game been more like the GB game last season.....................Tucker picks up his 4th foul with 14 and change to go in the game I keep telling myself, sooner or later UWM will have to put a full game together, I just hope it is before next season.

After Saturday's big matchup @ Butler, they will have 4 more league away games, we will have one. I also think this will be huge incentive on the boys to get their butts in gear on Saturday.

Maybe it's a good thing Butler won tonight. This should give more of a sense of urgency now. We've always played well at Butler so hopefully we'll bounce back and start hitting some shots.

Some thoughts...
-Free Throw shooting sucked tonight. -Losing Joah early left us without a 3rd scoring option -Rebounding really dropped off toward the end of the game (especially on the offensive end) -4 TOs for Hill and 5 TOs for Tucker = loss -Is Boo still suffering from the flu? -Some of the worst defense I've seen us play -Am I about to start drinking? YES

Butler game is going to be huge now!! That's news to me!! Every conference game before this one and everyone after this one has been and will be huge!! Everyone who has been saying we would wrap up the conference and host the tournament with a win tonight is crazy. Find me one D1 team who has had 4 consecutive conference road wins. Best case scenario if we win out: 14-2. Worst case scenario if we lose out: 9-7. I'm not a math major, but looking at the standings, how the heck are people saying if we win these two games, we win the conference. With Butler at 6-3 and Wright State at 6-4, they are easily in contention to win conference. Everyone needs to settle down--we didn't go undefeated in conference last year and no one is complaining about last year's results!!

Wish I knew what was going on in the game, but I had no clue thanks to WSU's great "Teamline" feed. Why isn't WSU going through CSTV along with the rest of the league as far as the server goes? I switched over to the other HL games coming over my screen just fine. From what I could tell through the choppy feed: - Missed bunnies - Foul trouble - Another off night for Boo ... hope this isn't the start of a trend. - Wimmer? Why? - Not the time to hit the panic button. A victory on Saturday will ease the pain of this defeat in my opinion. But alas, there goes the 8 seed.

I'm not a math major, but looking at the standings, how the heck are people saying if we win these two games, we win the conference. With Butler at 6-3 and Wright State at 6-4, they are easily in contention to win conference. To be fair, if UWM won both games ... it would've been 11-1 in conference. Butler would have 4 losses and Wright State 5. UWM would have four games left ... meaning it could only finish at worst with 5 losses (owning any tiebreaker over WSU with a 2-0 record against them). Butler would've been the only team alive for the No. 1 seed ... and they would've had to win out and UWM would've had to lose all four remaining conference games in order to get the No. 1 seed. So in essence, victories tonight and Saturday would've pretty much clinched the No. 1 seed. Instead, plenty of b-ball left ... time to buckle down.

11-20 Free Throws 5 point loss, you do the math Wimmer? Holy Shidizzle, Jeter must have been desparate.

Well just got back glad I didn't get a chance to watch doesn't sound like a good game (playing wise and internet feed wise) but that's playing away in conference. A loss might not be the worse thing in the world for this team, work out the kinks shake it off and get a win at Hinkle saturday going to need to play a full game though.
This is something I'm still waiting on from this team playing a full 40 minutes of basketball, I think the best ball I've seen from this team so far was when they were down 10 @ Detroit. But as I posted before a split in the next two games (tonights and Saturday) would be just fine.

I think, although tough, this could be a really cool deciding game.
Like aknowsense said, a split is fine. I'd rather lose one to WSU and beat Butler than vice versa, so we're still in command.

Well I went to the game tonight. It wasn't pretty....but WSU played poorly too.
All in all a bit disappointing.

Ok..we have all said it.. big game on saturday against butler..but has anybody taken a look at butler's remaing schedule??? Not very easy .... @ wright st on Feb 11...then to turn around on Feb 13 @ UWGB then they go home to play loyola on Feb 16
Very unlikely that they will go threw that stretch without a loss...but before it comes to that..lets take care of our own business!!!!
