It looks like UWM and MSU have a good chance of meeting in the bracketbuster, so i was cruising google and found your site. The Missouri State Messege board is linked off of www.letsgobears.com, you do have to create an account to read there though. valleytalk.net/ is the conference board, a lot of bear fans talk there also and no account needed there to read The teams have some similar stories it seems, Mid-majors who lost thier coach after a sweet 16 run .the 99' bears (southwest missouri state then) made the sweet sixteen and then lost our coach(alford) to Iowa. Hope you guys do better than we did in our sweet 16 follow up year. we had an RPI of 34 in 00' and got left out of the big dance so don't count on last years run to mean anything to the BCS loving committe when trying to get an at-large this year.

If Milwaukee takes care of business, gets the tourney at The Cell, and plays the way they are capable of playing then the Panthers will leave nothing to chance. First things first, beat the Ramblers. Go Panthers!

Yep, perhaps the greatest snub in the history of NCAA tourney selection. No team with an RPI above 34 has ever been left out.

if it's any consolation, Alford got out-recruited for '06 by WI. all three of the badgers commits chose them over the Hawkeyes including a guy who lives 30 miles from Iowa City.

Yeah, they put the "full-court press" so to speak on Trevon Hughes of St. John's Military, and in the end he went w/ Bucky. Had Alford pulled that off it would have been a major recruiting coup for him. He and Kammron Taylor will form a hell of a backcourt next season. UW could be preseason Top 10 w/ everybody but Ray Nixon back.
