This will be a real test, to go on the road for four straight. All of these teams have shown the ability to play with us, although they are also all inconsistent.
Anyway, if we go 2-2 we'll be 9-3 heading into the home stretch. And while I'd rather be 10-2, I think 9-3 would still put us in good position to bring the HT back to Milwaukee where it belongs!
Having said that, while I'd be okay with 2-2, and very satisfied with 3-1, I know the coaches and players want 4-0. Go get 'em, guys.

Last night Bud told me that if we win 2 or 3 more games, no one will able catch us.

An injury to any of the seniors would make this a close race pretty quickly. Luckily, the rest of the league seems to be beating each other up and giving us some space. We just need to stay above that mess.

Good thing Bud is the Director of the Athletic Department, not the Director of the Mathematics Department. Winning two or three more would put UWM at 9-7 or 10-6. Yeah, I think UWM should win a couple more than that ... just to be on the safe side, ya know.

I don't think he meant that we would ONLY win 2 or 3 more, just that if we do, with the way the schedule is (our closest rivals play each other and those 2 or 3 could be against some close rivals) it would be dam hard to catch us.

UWM will win the league with a record of 14-2 or 13-3 at worst...The difference is that this year every game is more of a fight and there will be no games that are "Easy" games for us
Gotta keep plugging away and getting W's anyway you can

When we play Loyola next Monday that will be the Ramblers fifth conference game in a row at home in a six game homestand! What's up with that? Who gets to play six conference games in a row at home?I smell conspiracy. It looks like Blount has a stress fracture (in his foot?) and may not be back for the UWM game. I, too, will be satisfied with a 2 - 2 road trip.

honestly i'm going to be dissapointed with anything less than 3-1. yes i know they're all on the road, but the bar has to be raised because this team has the talent and leadership to do it. the question is whether or not they can put together a few complete games. nearly a week of prep should help them out. no question though that everyone will be gunning for us hard. can't wait to see how it plays out.
also, depending on turn out, Loyola could be rendered a neutral court. we'll see about that though. playing on a monday night makes that one sort of difficult.

Seats on the bus are going fast. I got three seats today and they said today must be fill up the Loyola bus day.
If anyone here wants one, I suggest they call the ticket office asap.
