Butler at Bradley thebracketboard.blogspot.com/don't really know why UIC would be the 10th best game but that'll probably change since they lost at GB last night.

I sure hope we dont end up playing Missouri State. I am crossing my fingers to see the Northern Iowa matchup. This could be a huge statement game especially if we roll all the way to the end of the season.
GO Panthers!

keep crossing because that match up will not happen since we already play them next year. Missouri State or Bucknell would be both good in my book.
Too bad so many of the good teams host.

Iowa was given a home game for the BB anyways. while it seems like we'll be facing MO St. i'm still holding onto that small glimmer of hope its Bucknell b/c it'll be easier to market to the media.

Missouri State, on the other hand is a very attractive opponent for two reasons: 1. They currently have a RPI of 23. Due the very high quality of the MVC this year, I see them keeping a high RPI throughout the year (providing they keep winning, of course) 2. It gives us another quality non-conference road game next year. Having two MVC opponents would be sweet. (And Freak would probably wet his pants)

What are the rules with regard to bracketbuster matchups? Butler has already palyed Bradley this year. Would that prohibit them meeting in the bracketbuster? Todd

Highly doubtful you would play them again. I'm not sure there is a specific rule, but I can't imagine either school wanting to play again. Is Butler scheduled to play Bradley again next year already? Because if they play in the Bracket Buster, then there is a return game for next year ... meaning you would be playing Bradley four times in two seasons.
Can't see it happening.

I'm not sure whether Butler and Bradley play next season or not but your thinking is the same as mine here. I don't see this matchup happening either. Todd
