This has been pissin me off for sometime now..... Every day I go to jsonline, instead of picking up the hard copy of the paper. and in the upper right side of the page they list a "Happening now, Happening later" section. This just lists any concerts, or games happening in the milwaukee area, or even state. i.e. Badger games. However, for college basketball, they only list MU and Wisconsin. I am curious to how this plays into the equal treatment that all D1 programs should be recieving??? Just some food for thought, but how many people do you think do the same thing I do to find out whats happening in the metro for someting fun to do? Is it possible that UWM being listed, wether it be home or away, would generate some more fan interest? YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT WOULD. Just had to get that out....

not to mention Bobbi doing an article on Rudy Gay after MU's win. i wonder when Todd Rosiack will do an article on one of our opponents?

This is true, more media attention would probably result in a larger fan bases and awarness which might lead to higher attendance at home games. But no matter how much media attention we receive, even a run to the sweet 16, we will not have the fan support of Marquette or the Badgers. At least not while we're in the Horizon league.
But look at the positive, at least we have "the rock" on CBS 58 sports who has been behind the panthers for years now interviewing the coach on his sunday night show at 10:30. It may be partly because the Panther games are on the sister station WMLW, but its a step in the right direction.

We continue to make progress...Thats all it takes...We just need to keep having 20 win seasons and making our way to the NCAA and we will keep getting great transfers and recruits....The program is on the rise but we cant do it all in a few years...Its going to take quite some time, but you have to have faith that it will happen
