I love the Clubber Lang reference! A few more good ones:
Interviewer: Do you hate Rocky? Clubber Lang: No, I don't hate Balboa. I pity the fool.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Interviewer: What's your prediction for the fight? Clubber Lang: My prediction? Interviewer: Yes, your prediction. [Clubber looks into camera] Clubber Lang: Pain!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Clubber Lang: I'm the baddest man in the world. Rocky Balboa: You don't look so bad to me. Clubber Lang: What did you say, Paper Champion? I'll beat you like a dog, a dog, you hear?

Green Bay is really big. It will be tough sledding underneath. Evanochko went off on Wisconsin but I think that was an aberration. I look for our guards to lead the way in this game, although Joah should be able to take advantage of his strength and quickness against GB's young bigs.

I posted this stat comparison yesterday on the UWGB board, and he is a new one taking in last night's stats from the Wisconsin game. Here it is (UWGB - UWM): Scoring Offense: 62.4 - 70.9 (UWM) Scoring Defense: 68.9 - 66.1 (UWM) Field Goal Percentage: 40.9% - 38.9% (UWGB) Three-Point Percentage: 38.7% - 34.2% (UWGB) Field Goal Defense: 46.0% - 46.7% (UWGB) Three-Point Defense: 34.4% - 24.5% (UWM) Rebound Margin: +2.9 - +4.9 (UWM) Assist Average: 11.2 - 11.3 (UWM) Turnover Average: 15.1 - 14.4 (UWM) Assist/Turnover Ratio - 0.74 - 0.78 (UWM) Leaders: UWGBScoring: Ryan Evanochko (16.0 ppg), Terry Evans (9.1), Ryan Tillema (9.1) Rebounding: Terry Evans (5.9 rpg), Josh Lawrence (4.8), Ryan Tillema (4.3) Assists: Ryan Evanochko (4.7 apg), Terry Evans (1.9), Simon Farine (1.2) UWMScoring: Boo Davis (15.1 ppg), Joah Tucker (14.9), Adrian Tigert (11.1) Rebounding: Adrian Tigert (7.7 rpg), Joah Tucker (5.7), Boo Davis (5.4) Assists: Chris Hill (2.7 apg), Adrian Tigert (2.1), Avery Smith (1.4) It does look like UWM has the advantage in tomorrow night's game, but I expect it to be a hard-fought game. Both teams performed well against Wisconsin, though it looked like UWM had the better game. Evanochko went off on Wisconsin but I think that was an aberration. I don't know it that's true. Evanochko has had 75 points in his last three games. He put up 22 against Wisconsin, 28 against Montana State, and 25 against Eastern Michigan. He's also the leading scorer and the current player of the week in the Horizon League. I'm also looking forward to seeing how the defenses play. UWM still does use the press (at least in last night's game, they did, but I don't know about other games), but UWGB also has a press they use at times.

Since Evanochko is the starting PG, yes, UWM will be pressing.

I look for our guards to lead the way in this game, As do I. I think we will see the press, and a number of turnovers converted into transition dunks. And I really want some chicken!!

The game tomorrow is going to be awesome. That place is going to be rocking. I couldn't be more excited. The team is hungry, the fans are hungry... and UWGB is in some real trouble.

Against UWGB a press should be even more effective than it was against UW. Ryan Evanochko is not a true point guard, and in reality would be better suited for the 2 position. Evanochko's biggest threat in my opinion, based of last season, is his mid-range jumper which he shoots very well. This years UWGB team isn't as good as lasts, and we all know how UWGB did in Milwaukee last year. I'm curious as to how UWGB will defend against us. I noticed they played zone against UW so I'm expecting the same against us. I hope Boo stays hot and shoots the lights out. Art Vandelay 100% accurate predictions:- UWM 167
- UWGB 0
- coach k EJECTED!
