I'm told that 3,600 tickets were taken at the door. Yes, there were 3,600 people in the building last night. The 4,300 obviously comes from advance sales. Given the circumstances, that's an outstanding crowd. When I saw the weather leaving work and without any advance in the local paper, I was thinking 1,500-2,000. Great job, students!

As for not having the cutter take the 3 is because he is not suppose to(atleast this was how I was coached and have seen others coach it that way). This is a shot you can get at the end of the shot clock. I agree with your statement, but you must've misread mine. I said we missed the cutter "3 times" not that we missed him for 3pt shots. The cutter I'm referring to comes across to the ballside post when the ball is "swung". We do need to improve on defense if we're going to win more games. It seems there are only a few players who really try at this (AvO). Bo Ryan was known for his man-up defense just as much as his swing and the latter works because the former does.

I did misread and your right about the defense. The transition d was pretty poor last night as well.

I dont know if any of you watched the UNC - SLU game last night but I did (die hard UNC fan) and they sure put a scare into UNC. This win over SLU was a bigger win for us than I think we have given credit.
