that the D board banner says our regular season record is 1-1 and the game has yet to be played. Talk about bulletin board material.
I'd put some of those goofy smilies in the right spots of this message but my browser doesn't allow me to.
GO PANTHERS and PACKERS

Good win. Boo seems to be playing better. Tyrone is starting to show a little life. The guy can play, most highly touted player on the team right now. By the end of the season I predict he is the difference maker.

feeak -- I had to leave with ten minutes to go but Young had done nothing to that point. I don't know if he got it going after that but if so it was against a tired, demoralized squad by then.
I hope he comes to life, but right now he's about the fifth guy off the bench, if that.

he had his moments tonight. better than memphis, but he only logged like 5 minutes.
I'm more impressed with Avery Smith.
I vote that from now on, every time Avery gets the ball on an inbound, we begin a "Coast - To - Coast" chant.

this game further solidified my hatred of freshmen girls. if they paid as much attention to the game as they did to taking the same goddamn pictures in the same goddamn poses w/ the same goddamn people it wouldn't be as bad. however that scenario didn't happen. they talk when we shoot FTs and one actually cheered when UI made a FT. at least i'm w/ good company to make fun of them. anyways back to the game, just exactly what was Iowa's FG % the first 10 mins. of the first half?!?!?! 95%? it didn't matter how good of D we played they just sank EVERYTHING. overall it was good, i was upset Young didn't play more and it seems he's been demoted to 3rd string w/ Nick Hansen being promoted. those couple of dunks were nice too. was surprised a student got escorted out of the building w/ 2 mins. left in the game but when you're an idiot like him u deserve it. oh and Avery Smith is awesome.

Holic...I agree...I told some freshy girls to shut up and they looked at me like I was crazy....oh and one did pass out before tip off!
But, the game is a plus and minus with me. The putbacks were off all night, the ball flying back and fourth we need to put those down.
I was happy to Boo get his 3 back and Smith is impressing me, I like the little street ball move, got called for the carry, but still funny to see.
Tenn Tech should be good, and due to TKE Winter Formal...I wont be at the St. Louis game...unless I book it out of formal around 9...which I might just do!

Upper Iowa hit everything... everything. We scored 93 and left about 20 on the court. Overall, I'm very pleased, they finally looked like they were comfortably offensively. The defense was solid too, I just have to give the mighty Peac***s credit for their shooting touch tonite.

I can't believe some of you guys are actually complaining about freshman girls at a game where UWM dominated.
I'd have been right with those frosh girls by half time in a game like tonight.
And who really cares anyway?? At least they are going to the game. What was there, 300 people there tonight?
They say all the red seats are sold out. I hope so.

I love the fact that more people are coming...but learn the rules....

exactly, i'm not saying they can't have fun while at the games but try watching the games as much as gabbing of your cellphone, talking about non-basketball things and yelling "we love you zach". considering they have to continuously turn around to see why everyone keeps cheering, they really add nothing to the game.

they are solid bodies, we just need to get them a little more on subject at hand. If we can make it so they pay attention to the game, we could dominate a basketball game.
but i agree with hart in the fact that this game was over early, and girls' patience for basketball is, for the most part, non-existent. I think that if it were a close game, we would have them right there for us.

I think we need to hold a seminar or a like hour class on what to do and what your expected to do at a basketball games.
We can teach chants, when to something...when not to say something...like the dude who yelled when it was our guys at the line, and things like that, get them on the same page!

I agree jimmy. I am a die hard college hoops fan and was at the game and had a hard time paying attention come the 2nd half. Granted the many pitches at Majors before the game may have played a small factor in that.
