Just for your future info Memphis People....Its University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee abbreviated UWM (not UMW) and feel free to just address us as Milwaukee

One look at the Memphis and Milwaukee rosters tells you that the whole prep school thing is completely out of control.
JMHO.
Okay, that said, from a basketball perspective Memphis is a very tough matchup for us. Their athletes are as good as ours. The difference is that they have height -- a lot of height.
And let's not forget this is RJ's first real game as a college head coach.
This will be a very tough nut.

This will be a very tough nut. After what I've seen from us this preseason saying Memphis is a very tough matchup is almost an understatment. We are considerably more athletic than in years past, but still are no match to what Memphis is going to bring. And our height and almost more so the lack of a "James Wright" player could be our downfall this year I fear. Just do not see that player that brings that attitude we had last year in the Tourny. Hopefully I wil be proved wrong and would not mind if that was tonight. |
