Let me start by saying it's gotta be tough to lose a guy like Bruce Pearl. You can't fault him for taking that kind of money.
In all honesty, what do you think the chances are of Wisconsin-Milwaukee hiring a coach the likes of Rick Majerus or Pete Gillen?

We should finish the season in the top 3 Mid Major teams in the nation, top 25 team, with almost our entire team returning...our chances are probably pretty good.

it's anybody's guess on them at this point. i think the only reason majerus' name keeps coming up is his very strong ties/roots in milwaukee. you get the feeling he's not done coaching yet. so the chance to coach in his hometown in a medium-pressure situation at a school that has lots of potential may sound attractive to him... of course that's all PURE SPECULATION at this point. i'm not sure if he's ever been asked point blank about the situation so who knows. i think for the most part we're all just wishfully thinking. but crazier things have happened!

Gillen - silm to none
Majerus - about 75%
just guessing here, and as i said before not sure if i really like the idea, again nothing agaisnt Majerus just personal opinion, but we will see i guess.
