I have an inside source who had lunch with Rick Majarus a few weeks back and Rick said if offered the job he more than likely would take it...He said he would have to think about it, but is certainly interested...
Tony Jones knows the system for sure, but I am not sure he has the energy we need to keep the program flying high....

Jack Bennett is a great coach without a doubt...I think he is a good enough to coach to realize what type of style to run wiht a team..He will coach to the teams strengths no doubt.....He would be an excellent coach IMO
Rob Jeter sucks ass...Dont ever mention his name as a possibility back at UWM again...A total scumbag who thinks his sh*t dont stink

Agreed on Rob Jeter. I hate him almost as much as I hate Bo Ryan.

Wow...such contempt for Rob Jeter and Bo....didn't they get this thing started? I don't know either of them all that well, but my experience has been that Jeter never says much at all...usually just a quiet assistant to Bo.
Any specific reasons for not liking them.

Considering that UWM was putting together a counter offer, they should take that money and go out and get a guy that has some head coaching experience, so this would rule out Jones & Jeter. How does everybody feel about hiring a person with no head coaching experience? At first, I was sold on Jones, but the more I look into it and the team we have coming back, the more I think UWM needs somebody with head coaching experience. I know Majarus's name has been throw out there. What about somebody like Pete Gillen? Should be a fun few weeks speculating on who the next head coach will be.

Yeah, like speculating on the results of a biopsy. I can hardly wait.
Maybe we can get Kevin O'Neil.....at least Tennessee won't buy him, too.
I hate Grunfeld. He ruined the Bucks. Now he reaches up from beyond the grave at strangles UWM basketball. I hope he's enjoying himself.

This does suck, but if its truly possible to hire Gillen or Majerus then we are really at a whole new level notwithstanding Bruce's apparent departure. In that sense, he made a great contribution and I wish him well at Tennessee.
