This will officially be my last post of the season...Well at least it will be my good bye....
I want to first off thank all of the players and coaches for never giving up in any game...You always played hard and made it very very entertaining to watch....I could not be more proud of what you did for our program and for the University and for the city of Milwaukee...You poured your hearts into the season and as a fan we did the same....
Next, I want to thank all the Panther fans....A few years back Hoffman (UWMFreak), Devin (ThePaintedOne), and the infamous Milt and a few others only could have dreamed we would have had this fan support...It was the 5 of us painted up in the KC going nuts...To see all you guys out at the games going crazy puts more than a smile on our faces....Keep up the good work...Enjoy your time at UWM, it goes back very very quickly...
Thank you to the town for embracing us the way you did...Also thank you to the HL for supporting us in the dance, we did all we could for the conference...
A very very very special thanks to our seniors...Ed came for two years and put his name on the board as one of UWMs all time greats....James Wright a fifth year senior has worked his ass off and certainly had his ups and downs...Hell he could always make us laugh or twinge with his free throws (depending on how much we were winning by)..James worked super hard and overcame a ton and contributed big time down the stretch...
Joah Tucker--Great last game...Unreal...You relaly shouldered us...Great job and great season, I cant wait to have you back next year...Its going to be great...He will be HL POY next year...
Adrian- Great season, rough last game but no one is perfect....He will certainly bring great things next year when he plays his natural position of power forward when Walter Waters comes in to play center...Expect big big things from AT next year.
Chris Hill--WOW...Easily the most improved player...WAy to be a true leader and do it when it counted most...He did not back down from Dee Brown NOT ONE BIT...Chris was a great leader and will only continue to get better for next year..
BOOOOOO-- Great addition to the team....Provided us with alot of excitement and another great scoring option...A monster on the offensive glass. Great job, keep flying high...I have all confidence he can take over what Eds role was this year...Expect big things out of him as well...
Pancratz---Man I did not like him for quite some time this year aside from his endless hustle..As the season went on I began to see why he played so much...Great defender...He will certainly continue to improve and get minutes next year....
McCoy---Continued to improve and leraned his role on this team...Played a great part in our success down the stretch...I expect him to get a lot o fminutes next year and cause a lot of problems with his length..Just get some muscle and put on a few lbs and your set...
Ford---Up and down year, hopefully Waters will make him better next year and vise versa....To bad you slipped before the game, you would have helped us down low in this game
To all the others---Thanks for working your asses off in practice to make our guys better...It truly does not work out the way it did without your constnat work in practice...Great job....
Last but not least...... BRUCE PEARL
I dont have any words to say to describe my thanks to him...He took over this program four years ago and had a vision...Thank you for you vision and for believing we were capable....Thank you for always making us fans feel like part of the team...That is what college basketball is all about....I wish you the best of luck in whatever you decide to do...I will forever be a Bruce Pearl fan and he will forever be my homeboy....But Bruce listen when I say......PLEASE STAY!!!!
Great season guys, I cant wait until next season....We took huge steps this year but next year expect even more and expect to start the season and stay in the top 25 for the whole year....
