Unfortunately, it happened a bit too soon for you guys...

Anyway, congrats on a great season. You represented the HL well by beating an SEC and Big East team and you even played Illinois respectably. We would've had our asses handed to us by about 35 if we played Illinois.

I'm envious of your excitement and of your success this year. I only hope UIC comes to play next season.

if you guys want to do good in the horizon league next year, you should bring along the officals that were at the game tonight. you guys would be able to take as many steps as you want and on break away lay ups you guys could totally take out the other players arm and not have a foul called. this is how you guys could do good next year.

Does anybody else find it funny that Illini fans are complaining about the reffing, when most calls went in their favor . Granted, there were missed calls on both teams, but get real. I was at the game but for those who watched the game on TV, didn't Bilas comment about how the Illini players were hitting the Panther's arms on 3 point shots. Also, Auggie - I wouldn't b**** because your team is the king of the moving screens. Man, be happy your team won and give UWM its due credit. Just beacuse you guys didn't blow us out of the gym, you don't need to come up with excuses that the refs had some hand in keeping the game close. Good luck the rest of the way.

AMEN!!!! They totally hit our arms on the 3's, and we still hung in there!!! WE fought hard, and may not have played the best game in this season's history, but I think the pressure got to us, and that's okay...when a 12th seed can remain within 8 or 10 points of a first seed the entire game, that certainly says something about what a hard-working team we are!! Illinois played well, but we do deserve credit for working just as hard to get there and compete as well as we did!! It wasn't the refs, it was our guys' hard work that kept us in the game!!!!!

Props to those UIC fans for your support and showing true colors aside from our sometimes bitter rivalry and arguments. It just proves that it really is only a game.
