Who is going to "call" that game you ask?

"CBS' No. 2 college basketball announcing crew, Dick Enberg and Jay Bilas, have been assigned to call the UWM-Illinois game Thursday night at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill.

Armen Keteyian will serve as a sideline reporter in that game.

CBS' No. 3 team, Verne Lundquist and Bill Raftery, will call the Wisconsin-North Carolina State game Friday night at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, N.Y. Solomon Wilcots will be the sideline reporter."

I want to know more about the refrees?

Where are they going to be from?

The BC game made me nervous with all the whistles.

Considering how ugly and physical it could get the crew could be important, not a deciding factor, just important on the flow of the game.

While refs have obviously already been assigned, I don't believe they are announced prior to the game. Could be wrong, but that's what I remember.

Back to the announcers.........not so thrilled to see Bilas on the mic.........don't care for that guy (or his mid-major phobia) much. I would rather have Valvano (one of the guys who did the Hawaii game).

How are Verne Lundquist and Bill Raftery the No. 3 CBS team . IMO Raftery is the best college anouncer out there. What's the point of having that group call a game that both teams want to slow it down, Raftery won't get to use much of is "verbage". I guess I'll have to wait until Friday to hear........Badgers open up in a mantoman.

Wonderful, we get to listen to Bilas brag about Illinois and the ACC the entire game.

Bilas and Vitale, my least favorite sports writers/announcers.

Has the game already been played? While watching Sports Center they were talking about the Saturday matchup of Illinois vs. either Arizona or Ok St.

Ummm hello a little respect here we are 2-0 in this tourney?? I know they (ESPN) have given a little love but I was offended.

we should be ready for a biased opinion. Even illini fans should be pissed about this one because im sure well hear how much better the acc is than the big ten also.
