I have recieved word from a very wealthy alum that there is a lot of "new money" being pumped into the program with the intent of offering Bruce a better deal. For what it's worth, this guy is worth several million dollars, and he has told me that the people who are coming forward "could buy and sell him".
I fully expect that Bruce will recieve a healthy raise. Enough to compete with 1.5 mil? No way. But it could be significant.

Any funds donated expressly to the mens basketball program can be allocated direct. That means it can be used as BP salary.
Tell your Dad thanks, dunzz.
P.S. The basement project is getting an upgrade!!!

Time to pass the hat!
We may not hit $1.5 million, but if Marquette could come up with the cash to keep Tom Crean happy, we certainly can do the same.
Anyone know if there is a way to start a campaign to raise the funds necessary to satisfy BP financially?
Until then, send your kids to his camps. Sign up for the golf outing. Buy season tickets. Buy some more season tickets. Tell your friends to buy season tickets.

There is much discussion among brucemyhomeyboy and our posse about buying season tickets even though we are students. We would just be happier not having to show up two hours before and game and not get smothered by other krazies. Im going to buy tickets behind lou so i can spill beer on him... jk anyways. thats my plan.
Then a year after next fall i will be a graduate student and i think im going to swing court side seats as a graduation present from my family. OH HAPPY DAYS

The Panther Fund is a 501(c)3 organization, and many companies will provide matching funds for contributions.
I'm checking with my employer today.
