So ive been thinking about the game and there are some burning questions that will give good insight to the game. Now im not here to just be UWM fan but to give analysis on the two teams.
The game can be broken down into a couple of observations. Questions that need to be answered and im hoping we all channel our energy to evaluate the game better. Here we go.
The top priority of the game is defence. Ill does great on offense bc they play team basketball. The guard system is effective bc Ill makes the extra passes. In fact on most of their high lights on espn show them making 10 plus passes on a drive. A result of this would be a high average of assists in a game. Multiple players with 4 plus assists. Can anyone locate box scores were there was not a high average of assists for Ill? To be clear wer looking for a games were only one player really stood out with a high number assists. Suggesting that it was a set play that worked well, while limiting the number of passes. Go..... Look at those box scores.
Another burning question is the press. Milwaukee does play a sexy up tempo stlye of basketball which uses the press only after a basket is made. My question is, what are the games were ILl had plenty of fast break points. fast break points usually incur a steal or a run in transition. Buit it also implies a good break of the press. Can you research fanatics find games were Ill had few fast break points and alot of fast break ponits. The flip side of this debate is. Ill can break through the press. If this is true, can any one locate a team that runs the press. The big ten is not known for its press. Nor do they run it as much as the pnathers. So the flip side to this flip side allows us to speculate that Ill has or has not seen the press for as long as milwaukee can run it.
Further more, bruce said on his tv show last night that he doesnt think that the panthers will be running 94 for as long as they usually do? what do we switch to? What else works for the panthers?
Fears.... Now, i honestly think that the Ill team can really benefit from the WI game. even though we changed the starting 5 since then, ILl can learn alot from that game footage. Can anyone give us insight to how the panthers will be avoiding the argous physical big ten play?
that should keep you people pre occupied for a while.
