I got the shaft on tix... Oh well. The hard hat is 2-0 in the tournament, but what are you gonna do.
Got the next best thing. Acquired a projector from a friend of a friend. So I will find the biggest wall in my apartment and make it seem like I am there.

I think lots of people got the shaft on tix. Remember, the NCAA wants to let people who are ticket holders for De Paul to attend the game as well. Hopefully DePaul fans won't all cheer for Illinois.

I wasn't one of the lucky ones who was able to get tickets for last nights game (even though I was at both the Cleveland games), but I have a quick question for those people that were in attendance.
It was my understanding that tickets for this round were sold at $120 and that included admission for both Thurs/Saturday. Did some people sell their Saturday portion of the ticket to rabid Illini fans or do you plan on driving back down there again Saturday for the Illinois/Zona game? Looking at ebay it seems like one could get well over the $60 face value on those tickets if they wanted to.
Inquiring minds would like to know...

Yes--many people sold the tickets to rabid Illini fans and scalpers who swarmed the UWM portion of the arena as soon as the game was over. Tickets seemed to be going anywhere from $150-$400 each depending on how close you were to the court. UWM fans certainly had something to be happy about...It didn't even seem like the Illini fans were happy about the win--just worried about getting tickets. By the way, they were pretty nice about the game and stuff. I wonder if its because they just wanted the tickets though.

The ticket brokers were out in full force as soon as the game was over. I must have had 20 people asking me to sell my ticket as soon as the game was done. $200 was the going price for Saturday's Ticket from brokers. I looked like there were a lot of people selling their tickets.

$200 did seem to be the average...I had a friend that got $300 each for 2 tickets in row G. An older man paid someone $800 for 2 tickets very close to the court in the UWM section. The Arizona/Ok St game was so exciting at the end that I didn't even notice how bad the Oklahoma State fans got swarmed for tickets when they lost.
That place is going to be an even larger sea of Orange tomorrow night!!
