whatever you are smoking let me get some. it must really be some good stuff. Auggie, read PantherLou's post again. He says " that every person without a rooting interest will be on our side." He may very well be right. When Cinderella has a chance to beat Goliath, Cinderella will have fans coming out of the woodwork. I think we'll be suprised at the number of people that will be rooting for UWM and AGAINST us. |

Look, I know that the game is in Chicago, but last I checked, it's only a 2 hour drive from here. There will be A LOT of Milwaukee fans in the house.
This is not going to be a home crowd for Illinois. It will be a true neutral floor matchup. Do you really think that the Arizona or Oklahoma State fans will be rooting for Illinois? Do you think DePaul fans will be rooting for Illinois? I don't. Maybe I am optimistic, but we will see.
This is going to be a tremendously tough game, in a very tough atmosphere, but it will not be the most hostile crowd we have faced this year. Not even close.

hostile crowd? its gonna get pretty hostile when your scm bag coach gets introduced. that d-bag is gonna get his ass booed out of the stadium.

I cant say how many fans will be there from each school but there will hopefully be alot of milwaukee fans, either way i think this will be one of the most hostile games we've ever played in front of the most passionate crowd. just my .02

Panther fans, I'm not the first to congratulate you and I know I won't be the last. Go down to Rosemont and beat the living crap out of the Illini. I hope Bruce Pearl shoves it right down the Illini's throat. Right now UWM IS Milwaukee's best and the Panthers are a fine representative. Make all that orange leave in tears!  |
