Weren't there any Bama fans at the game??? It sounded like the place was dominated by Panther fans. For those of you who were there, you did a great job because you were LOUD. I was watching the game on tape earlier today and the arena sounded alive and well.
Let's take out the Eagles now! If this happens, UWM's national status will be totally redefined.

I just got back from cleveland and would estimate that there were about 400 alabama fans or so but you couldn't hear them at all. Most of the fans were a bunch of older people and I didn't see any students where uwms section had about 200 or so students in it that made it much louder. Go panthers lets get to the sweet 16

They seemed to have about a section and a half, but were less noticeable because they did mostly did not wear team colors. We had two overflowing sections - one was mostly alums ("old people" as our previous poster would say) and the other seemed to be lots of students. Both went nuts. We had twice the fans but we made about 5x the noise. Part of that is that they were never really in the game.
I was at both sessions and would say that we were the second largest contingent. West Virginia was clearly the largest (its right next to Ohio), then us and then Wake. Penn had a good group but that game was over after about five minutes so they were not really heard from. The smallest groups seemed to be Bama and Chattanooga (although all the WVU fans rooted for them.)
