For those driving what are the estimates to get there, Yahoo and mapquest have it at just under seven hours. Should we believe this. Me and Dutch may be leaving thursday morning around 3:30 or 4:00 if he can take his test early

Just curious--but what test do you have on Thursday? I have a Business Law test with Rausch Thursday, but I'm hoping to skip it...actually going to skip it and hoping for him to give me a makeup either before or after!! Haven't heard back yet, but maybe if there are more than 1 person it would help!!

lang is right, i do have business law.
i e-mailed him after getting back from the BP show and am going to try and meet him during his office hours and try to beg and plead for a way to get out of taking the exam thursday, if you want fan04, you can meet me out side his office tomorrow before 11:00. maybe we can appeal to his inner sports fan ;D.
i was thinking of skipping the test too but read in the sylybus(sp?) that you can't take any exams after they have been handed back so i am going to see if he will let me take it Tuesday or Wednesday. but we will see...............

If you go up through Michiagn you gan go 75-80MPH due to the higher speed limit! so that is not a bad option and for those of us who don't have a lot of speeding tickets thats about 90 ;D ;D (I wouldn't be in that group I have a couple too many speeding tickets;D ;D)

If you are driving to Cleveland through Michigan, you seriously need a map.

I was told by someone who has family in Cleveland that it is faster to go up through MI right along the border because of the higher speed limit

Interstate 80/90 runs near the Michigan border in Indiana ... I think this is the route they are referring to, it's the way to get to Cleveland.
If you are taking I-94, you're going through Detroit. Good luck.

Good luck with the drive. It can be done. Whatever you do, go through Chicago very early (as in the middle of the night) to avoid getting backed up there.
Per the statements above- there's no way you'll save time by taking 94 through Michigan, once you split from 80/90 it's an hour north until you start heading east again, 4 hours to Detroit, then another 2 hours to Cleveland. Plus there's a huge bridge construction project in Toledo.
I drive that way a lot. Drive safe everyone!

Make sure you keep in mind the time change. I once tried to make a baseball game in Cleveland and was an hour late due to the time change
