there aren't "student" tickets per-say........the tickets are available to students but you don't get any break on the price if i remeber right from 2 years ago. the prices then were $5 a piece so i would venture to guess thats gonna be what your looking at again. I think you mean $45 a piece. And it was only $10 for the bus ride.

yes thank you for the correction junkie.
damn typing skills decided to leave me fro a moment. your right the ticket was $45 i just looked at it since it is hanging up on my wall in my room still (suprised that the tape still holds it up there actually) but it was still fun experience. that city had such an energy about it that i have never felt at any other sporting event, it was awsome. I just wish that i could go again this year but i have an exam at 12:30 on thursday so i'm pretty pissed, but for all of those out there who are trying to decide whether to go or not, GO! DO NOT WAIT. GO! you will have such a blast i guranatee you.

I agree with Dutch...Dutch, Harker, myself and a couple others went two years ago. Remember Grandma and Grandpa Irish? Anyways, I still have the ticket and the program I bought. I really wish I could go to the game too. It was a blast! Dutch is right, if you're deciding weather to go or if you should spend the money, DO IT! You will not regret it, its a memory that will be with you for the rest of your life.

The ticket you buy is for the first and second rounds. So, if we win on Thursday you already bought the ticket for Saturdays game too...at least that was how it was two years ago.

uwmsafan- I am 99% sure that the tickets are only for the 1st round! If we win on Thursday, you have to buy another ticket for Saturday's 2nd round.

I agree. The tickets are for Thursday only, and I believe only for the first session that day (UWM/Bama, BC/Penn). But hey, games will be done by 4 or so, leaving plenty of time to celebrate the Irish in ALL of us.

This was on Penn's website. It kinda makes it sound like tickets ARE good for the first and second round.
"Tickets will cost $55 for each round. Each ticket permits entry for one session of basketball which includes the Penn game and another First Round game. The Second Round cost will be refunded if the Quakers do not advance. For this reason, tickets must be purchased by VISA or MasterCard only."

There's no way I'd NOT stay to watch us play again saturday then!

Tickets are only good for the afternoon session, which also includes the Penn/BC game. You'll have to purchase another ticket for Saturday's session, which also will feature two games.
