The allotment of tickets also depends on where we play. If we are at the RCA Dome, there will be a larger allotment of tickets than if we play at the CSU Convocation Center because it only holds 13,500.
Two years ago for the tourney, Sandburg sponsored the bus which cost only $10...and then you had to either buy an upper level ticket from them or go through the athletic department for the ticket. I would guess that either them or the athletics department will help arrange a bus and lend monetary support if the sight is close (Indy, Cleveland, or ~maybe~ Nashville.

Lou said he would cover for me at work while I went to the game. Thanks Lou, I didn't think you were drunk either.

It seemed in our section two years ago at the RCA dome we had a pretty good size crowd...I think the JS said more than 1,500 made the trip...and if memory serves me correctly I dont remember too many UWM fans in the upper level...seemed to me it was all in the one section we were designated...but as far as money wise I am really hoping that its at the RCA dome cause number one I know Im gonna be getting a ticket and two I wont have to pay 5 times face value for it for being up in the nose bleeds...pretty awesome to be on the floor in the first row behind the band two years ago...I look forward to that again and now that I am of drinking age I can get tanked and Indy is a fun town and would love to go there

Also, be weary of the Indy security guards at the NCAA game. We were in the first row on the floor two years ago and we were told to sit down, while the Notre Dame student section was allowed to stand up. Apparently some old fans couldnt see and complained to security that they had "paid to see the game". Well, we basically told them "NO WAY IN HECK!!" unless they also told ND students to sit down too. To tell the truth I cant remember what the result was but it was fair whatever it was. /Wow, I cant believe I'm still bitter about that

Just to conclude what I said above. At the time, with all the emotions that go along with a game, it felt like we were being singled out since UWM was the lower seed and a lesser known school. But now that I look back on it, they were just trying to make all the fans happy.

I was in the 1st row for that game and remember the problem. I think a few ND fans behind the UWM fans were the ones that started the whole thing. In the end they let us stand for the game and sit during timeouts which didn't make much sense--but it worked out good. The student section/band for Illinois which was the game before ours stood the entire game so I don't know why they made such a big deal!

I was the guy in the white UWM hat with two girls, baseline front row by the center aisle that nearly got kicked out cause those old guys wanted me to sit down and I refused, then one of 'em wanted to come down and MAKE ME! He was like 50 something, short and 150 lbs, and I was fresh outta Army AIT, so that woulda happenned. Since I was front row baseline, the Sherriff working our end comes right up to me before Mr. Crankypants gets halfway down the aisle towards me and (probly just cause of my age) proceeds to threaten to kick ME out! This was like 2 min's into our game, too Anyways, the ushers ended up moving the pompous whiners to half-court seats, and our row-and-a-half of UWM fans stood the rest of the game, just like the Illini students next to us had during their game. I trust there will be more students this time around to have my back if this occurs again at Indy this year. ;D By the way, what's your name uwmbballjunkie? Were you in the group that was in the second row about 5-10 seats to the left of the basket? All I can really remember was that short, annoying EWOK kid was there by himself right behind me in the 2nd row, and just WOULD NOT shut up! Everyone and everything else that night was a blur - including the sub 4 hour drive home after the game w/my GF and her friend asleep in the back seat! -Jason

there aren't "student" tickets per-say........the tickets are available to students but you don't get any break on the price if i remeber right from 2 years ago. the prices then were $5 a piece so i would venture to guess thats gonna be what your looking at again.
