Can we exceed the record crowd for UWM tonight, or just tie it? Lets sit people on the floor if we have to.

The record is 10,254 from last year's HL title game.
We will pass it ... the Cell's capacity is 10,783 or something like that.

Since we've never sold out the Cell, I do believe that we can get a new official record.
I think it's going to happen.
EDIT: I was actually working during the last two minutes, and did not see Hack's post. I will try to work less and obsess about this game a little more.

Pearl said at the pep rally today they were passed 9000. There was also a line after the rally to buy tickets. I think we'll be close to selling out if there is a large group of walk ups. The weird thing is is that this game would have been sold out yesterday if GB won.

that's great news on the sales... and while it's true had it been GB it would have been sold out yesterday, it would have been sold out with a lot more opposing team fans, not Panther faithful. there's really no doubt anymore that we're going to see our first ever true sell out. amazing stuff!!!

no, not sold out. however it looks like they're releasing what would typically be seats reserved for the opposing team. section 221 is now available.

They released mid-court tickets as well. I just did a search and found four tickets in section 323 plus 2 in 324. That's just wrong to hold those tickets back this long.
Edit:Make that an ability to get ten tickets together in 323. WHAT THE F%@k!?!?!

Just talked to a father/UWM grad I met in the last couple years from the Twin Cities (AND an avid Panther fan from a distance!) who was on the Detoit discussion board and observed the Titans have a bus coming for the game, then heading back home. Not sure if they have more than that....just interesting to hear this from long distance!

Looks like you can't buy tickets online anymore. Have to go to the box office or Ticketmaster outlet.

As quoted on the Horizon League site, 10,783, the largest in Panther's history. The USC quotes to hold 11,119. Awesome numbers, 97% packed and 336 shy of a true "FULL HOUSE".

According to what is listed in the UWM media guide and HL Tournament program, 10,783 is a full house for the Cell in its current configuration. I'm assuming the 11,119 would be correct if the "VIP area" on the other end of the court was filled in with seats.
