What are your thoughs on the WSU game tomorrow? I have a feeling that BP will have them ready to go after what happened in GB. I can't lie, this game worries me a bit, but I see us taking care of business. Unlike this board, I am sure the team isn't looking nearly as far ahead as we are (towards UIC and Hawaii). Well, maybe the players have thought about Hawaii for a second or two......haha What I am getting at is that I am sure BP has reminded the guys on several occassions just how important this WSU game is.

It is time to turn our focus on Wright State. BP won't let the boys look ahead to the UIC game because there seems to be a little ill will between some of the players. I don't kow how many of you saw the BP show, but he stated that the Wright State players were talking smack before the game was over. This game should be a bounce back game for Hill, he will be matched up on Woods and if Hill can shut him down it will do wonders for UWM. I am also worried about this game, a liitle less now that UWM lost to GB, but Wright State is not a team to be taken lightly.
Does anybody know if WSU is going to have the streaming video for this game?

I couldn't agree more. This game is absolutely huge. A win here and we still control our destiny in conference. A loss, and everything is up in the air.
I'm confident that Bruce has the guys ready, but still...I'm nervous as hell already.
What's the deal with streaming video? WSU website?

I'd be a lot more worried about this game if Wright St. hadn't acted like total idiots in the first meeting. Teams have a way of remembering that kind of garbage. Still, Wright St. is very formidable.

We shouldn't be taking this game lightly. Wright ST scares me right now. They haven't lost a confernce home game yet. Although we are coming off a tough lost i think we will be prepared to battle. Wright ST is coming of a surprising lost to Cleveland St. so i expect this game to be close. We need to come out strong. My Prediction UWM 68 WST 61

I'm a pessimist and the Raiders scare me on the road. Woods runs the team very well and the have an inside presence with Williams. Pleimann was impressive in the first game and should have played more minutes - a very active big man.
The next game is always the most important game. Go Panthers - any road win is a good win.

i got to say that i'm not a real big fan of this game right now either. It's gonna be a dog fight thats for sure.
But the one thing that i'm not real worried about is that Bruce still seems pretty pissed with some of the stuff that WSU players seemed to have to say while teh game was going before they choked it away. So that being said i think that our boys will be fired up just fine.
maybe the good ol' boy from The Ohio State University will try and keep himself under control but i'm pretty sure that he won't.

This game will be a tough matchup, both teams are coming off disapointing losses and will have something to prove. I think we will have to look for UWM to get off to a fast start and take control of the tempo early. If we can do that the game could be over within the first half. This game could set the table for the rest of the conference scheduale. I think Ed, Boo, and Tucker need to all have good games in this one. I have no doughts that we will be able to go into Wright St and get a win!

Love the optimism. But I just don't think there's any way this game is decided in the first 30 minutes, let alone the first half. The kids from Wright St. are just too tough-minded and probably more than a little scared of Biancardi. We should be satisfied with a win here by any margin.

a win by any margin is right ! I am intiminated by their inside presence. What i would love to see tonight and think that we really need it is a bug defensive game by Derrick Ford! He has been stepping up on D lately and i hope to see him continue it. Maybe he will come up with double digits points prolly not but i would love to see it! I expect brucec to do what he has been doin lately and that is starting the three gaurds and hopefully they press the full first half! this is our style of game and need to push WSU into it to pull off a Victory tonight. we need this win to pull away in conference! Go panthers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
