Just by briefly glancing at the list, these caught my eye:
UTEP at Pacific Vermont at Nevada Valpo at Butler (seems like many want this to be a yearly series down there)

MVC vs. MAC show down. ;D
Wichita State at Miami (Ohio) Southern Illinois at Kent State
So where is the all-day party going to be? Leading contenders: BBC, Turner Hall, Goolsby's. Constant Mid-Major basketball...life doesn't get any better! ;D
Despite the away teams being overload with the better RPI programs, I think everything worked out pretty good.
Later, UWMfreak

Oh boy, I can just here the grumbling from I-94 South about that killer Georgia Southern match-up. Man Hack you couldnt be more right. But hey this is what we get for playing poor basketball. I sometimes wonder if we would have been better off nixing the game and trying to get another game against a major team like someone from the alantic 10. I still think the best option is to stay far away from this and take the weekend off and rest. You guys have a great game, I wish I could go to Hawaii for the weekend.

No, im stuck in school down in bloomington so ill miss this one. But as far as I can tell it looks like very few people are going. But when can we ever bring a crowed? Answer only when its a HL title game. To many banwagon jumpers. Oh well but ill be down there for the tourny, that is if we can make it that far.

Illinois State is by no means a cupcake. The have a very good coach (Porter Moser), who the "old school" UWM guys will remember from 95/96. Like Hack said, the MVC is not to be taken lightly (Illinois State's current RPI is 94 - only 9 spots behind GB).

Porter, in fact, was responsible for the Texas Five recruiting class. The only problem was that Porter left shortly thereafter and the entire class was gone before the following fall. John Gilmore is now playing in the NFL. As for Illinois St., don't underrate them.

ISU has been one hell of a surprise. Most people out here didnt think they would win many games, myself included. But Porter has done a great job, and this team is starting to play better basketball. The knocked off St. Johns on a bad year, they beat Big 10's Pennstate. So I think GB will have some problems but playing at home is always a good way to counter those problems.
