I was just wondering what the best way to get tickets to road games is? The UWM ticket office? The opposing team ticket office? Try to get tickets directly from the team? Etc.? Obviously I would like to try to sit with some other UWM fans, or at least not in the middle of the opposing teams student section. Also, nosebleed seats are not real high on the must have list........ Anyone have any suggestions? (Specifically, I am talking about the Purdue and GB games).

I would recomend going to the ticket office, they always sell them there. I know for the GB game taht they have a bus going there. Just go to the ticket office and they will give you all the info necessary, and dont worry about seating, the seats that they give us are usually good, and not in the other teams student section. Although that would make for an interesting game! ;D

The UWM ticket office does get an allotment of tickets for each road game to sell. It depends on each school, on how many tickets they receive.

I'm also interested in going to Purdue. Let me know what you find out.

I just talked to LaVar about tickets to Purdue. The best he could do was Sec. 104 ($17.00 each)......Mackey Arena is very unique in that seating is in a circle, not an oval like most arena. Anyways, the first ring is single and double digit sections and the upper ring is triple digits (i.e. section 104). Sec. 104 is towards the middle of the court, but is in the upper section. I don't know what kind of seats this translates into, but I don't think that Mackey seats more than 12,000ish, so I am guessing it is like sitting in the "upper" section of the Cell - not to bad, but not great. I also talked to some people that are Purdue fans, and they said that they have not been drawing well, and there would be tickets available (scalping is legal in Indiana). Also, it didn't look like the attendance was real great for the recent Purdue vs. UW game. At the end of the day, I think I might take my chances and just go to the game without a ticket and get one there, or try to bum some off some Purdue guys that are friends of friends......haha EDIT: Sounds like there may be a few people going to this game.......we should all hook up at some point.
