Everyone is mad but you know what we have to be proud of the Panthers for making it as far as they did. We are dissapointed but in the end look back at the great season we had. It was a bloody battle up until the end. Good job guys, I'm proud to say I go to UWM!

Funny, I didn't get the message that the season is over.
Let's make the most of the NIT possibilities ... Marquette, Northwestern or Notre Dame are possible first round games.

Northwestern is my school. Unfortunately they won't finish .500 unless they win 2 in the Big Ten Tourney - won't happen. I hoping for Marquette.

You actually could throw any Big Ten bubble team into that mix ... Michigan? Purdue?

Everyone, SBGC, Horizon League:
I would just like to extend my hand in congratulations to the UIC Flames. No matter how hard it is to say you deserve it. Congratulations and show the HL pride in the NC2A tourney!!
To all you SBGC members; thanks for the memories. We started with nothing and end (I end, graduation) with 10,000 proud!!
when i came to this great school, people were quiet, but look at them now. when i came to this school people didn't think of basketball, but look at them now. when i came to this school people had never heard of the SB&GC, but look at them now. Now i must leave this school, but look at it now. Loud and proud of milwaukee, this is my school, this is our school, look at it now.
Thank you for everything,
Devin Kack Student Black & Gold Club President The Painted One

Are you graduating tomorrow?
By my count, there's five more games yet to be played.

hey its been a great ride this season. maybe it didnt go the way we may have hoped but things don't always go the way you want them to. To devin I wish you could have ended in a win. If anyone deserved a win for their last panther game it was you. You got the student section where it was today, with the help of some other great people! The season isn't over yet we still have the NIT! And Panther basketball is far from over we are just getting started! This is the start of a great tradition in basketball and everyone that has been a part of it for the past few years should be proud! It was a hard fought game and I can't begin to tell anyone how much I wanted a win. I just want to thank everyone in the SBGC for a great season you guys are awsome and I can't wait for the NIT and next season............ GO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT YOU DO IN LIFE ECHO'S IN ETERNITY!

I am just wondering who are the possibilities for taking over the offices that will be vacated in the SBGC............I could possibly an interested party who has been around for the last 2 years and is thankful that i have come across Devin and all his friends. I would honestly say my experience is TEN tims better with them in my life. I can honestly say i am going miss some of the guys graduating.
As for the club, i would just like to know what we will do and how it will be done to replace Devin or if that has already been taken care of.....
Very interested in the outcome of this topic

The Student Black & Gold Club has some alumni support and will continue beyond commencement. The future strength of the group will depend on undergraduate leadership and involvement.
It is a good thing for members to raise these issues, since a passing of the torch is an important event in any organization.
Former Chancellor Nancy Zimpher once asked if we were a "real" organization, or just an "attitude". The truth is that we are both.
Chancellor Zimpher holds the Student Black & Gold Club tee shirt with number 36 on the back.
