Look, people. UIC will be bringing in 5 to 6 buses coming in from Chicago. THEY WILL BE FILLED TO THEIR CAPACITY!!!! Look out for a huge UIC fan turnout at the Cell.
Don't worry--there will be LOTS of RED in the stadium, and hopefully no fights will break out, but there will be hell of a fight between the teams, coaches, and verbally between the fans in terms of LOUDNESS.
And you've got the whole thing wrong--stopping Banks is not the only task UWM has in defeating UIC. Armond Williams is a HUGE defensive player, as he limited Mike Monserez to just 6 points in the Butler game, after he scored a total of 44 points in the first two games versus YSU and UW-Green Bay. Elliot Poole will also dominate with his size and strength.
If Banks gets his usual 20+ points, if Bailey gets his average 7-8 assists, and Justin Bowen, Armond Williams, and Elliot Poole do their job like they did against Butler on both the defensive and offensive sides, UWM is going to have a heck of a lot of trouble in beating us.
Page and McCants are on fire, but UIC right now is the hottest defensive team in the conference. We will see how they stack up to our recent hotness in defense.
Tuesday's game will be the MOST highly anticipated and MOST intense game in the history of the Horizon/MCC.
If UIC wins, the 500+ fans of UIC will be sure to STORM the court of the US Cellular Arena!!
Prediction:
UIC: 71
UWM: 69
Also note: UIC is 15-0 this season when scoring 70 points and above. Good luck in beating us!!!
GO UIC FLAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D
