Ok...................3 1/2 hours to game time. I have a feeling that the board is not going to be to active since most people on this board are going to make the trip. I am that I could not make it, but oh well. A good thing about having the first game is that it can be seen all over the US on Fox Sports Central. I just got off the phone with my brother who lives in Cali and he stated that the first HL game is being shown out there but not the second, so that is a plus that the Nation will be a witness to the beat down that we are going to lay on Detroit. The Spread has us at -1. I think we win by 7 - 10. OK team, you know what you have to do and it is time to do it!! GO PANTHERS!!! on a side note, what a great day of hoops: Wisconsin, Marquette, UWM and the Bucks all play at different times and Duke vs North Carolina to end it off!!!

Solid win by the Panthers who look to have their game back. Props to Hill and McCants for stepping up big time. Can't help but think the Klotsche Krazies made a difference in that game. It hurts to say it...Go UIC.

that was quite the game tonite. i really am glad that hill had a good game. he can really use that to build off of now for UIC. In my opinion hill played pretty damn good, yes there were a few mistakes but for the most part he was huslting around trying to get just about every lose ball and he hit a HUGE three to help perseve the lead. God i can't wait for tuesday and UIC. Bring on teh Flames!!!!!

On this night, it was Detroit, but only marginally. The Titans won the battle, holding the Panthers to their second-lowest point total of the season, but the Panthers won the war, 58-50. With the victory, the Panthers are one step away from a return trip to the NCAA tournament. The Horizon League championship game will be against archrival Illinois-Chicago, a 65-56 winner over host Butler in the other semifinal Saturday. UWM Downs Detroit, Moves Into Title Game McCants outside, Page inside makes difference for Panthers[/color] March 6, 2004 INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Ed McCants scored 20 points while knocking in six three-point shots and Dylan Page added 18 as the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee advanced to the championship game of the Horizon League Tournament with a 58-50 win over Detroit Saturday in the first semifinal at Hinkle Fieldhouse. The Panthers (19-9) will either host UIC or play at Butler Tuesday night at 8 p.m. CST in the championship game. Those two teams are playing in the second semifinal. UWM trailed 39-38 with 11:15 remaining in the game on a Rulon Harris basket. But the Panthers scored the next nine points of the game to grab a 47-39 lead and then hung on down the stretch by making 8-of-10 free throws in the final 83 seconds.
