The Wave aren't likely to move their game time since they moved one game already to accomodate the UWM-UWGB game.

UWM won't host Horizon quarterfinals, semifinalsBy DAN MANOYAN dmanoyan@journalsentinel.com Posted: Feb. 18, 2004 Indianapolis - UW-Milwaukee officials announced Wednesday that it would not be able to host the quarterfinals and semifinals of the Horizon League men's basketball tournament on March 5-6 should Butler University not advance to that stage of the tournament. Butler is the conditional host of the tournament, but the tournament would revert to the site of the highest seed for the quarterfinals and semifinals should the Bulldogs not make it that far. UWM has the first right of refusal to host the tournament based on its No. 1 seeding in the tournament. Butler, which has won the regular-season title four straight years, is in sixth place in the league. As things stand, Butler would face Youngstown State, in seventh place, in a tournament play-in game. There are actually 2 Wave games, one Saturday, one Sunday. We can stomp our feet all we want(in honor of BP.) It just won't work this season. Efforts were made, and have been made throughout the season. It just didn't work out. STOP CRYING. Be more concerned with the fact that the team is leaking oil bigtime. 35

www.jsonline.com/sports/coll/feb04/208588.aspThere is a quote in this article that the Klotche Center currently seats 3,400. That is flat out wrong! They have had many announced crowds larger than that at the KC...........someone is not telling the truth.

I think its talking about because of construction the KC isn't adequate to seat more than 3400. By law that is prob the compacity right now.

Well, we will see at the CSU game, but I am betting that there will be more than 3,400 seats at that game - that is not that many people. How does the construction affect the seating in the gym? There are still the same number of bleachers in there - and they can bring in the portable bleachers under the baskets just like always.

I don't know how it takes away becaust the last time I was in there the seating seemed the same...I'm not sure..I do thinking someone is lying here??? Maybe the KC isn't supposed to have the bleachers pushed out...who knows...too confusing. I have just seen it in a couple articles that because of construction?

In all likelihood, the reasoning behind the KC only being able to seat 3,400 during construction is a result of the fire code. Last time I was at the KC, the north entrance/exit was completely blocked off b/c of construction. For that reason, they probably had to put down a lower capacity because each building needs to have a certain number of exits per person in order to comply with fire code. My guess is that because the north exits are closed due to construction, the number of exits is only enough for 3,400.
Hope that makes sense everyone, just my two cents.

Once again, you are probably right pnthr97...... haha I say just open up the overhead/loading door on the south side of the building - a lot of people could run out of that in the event of a fire. ;D j/k

Hopefully, the only thing to ever catch fire in that building is our offense heading into the conference tourney.

Just because the attendance is listed over 3,400 doesnt mean there are that many seats.

Numerous times there have been crowds of 5000 in there. If you think it holds only 3400 beano, you haven't been there.
