A little known factor that might help us for the Bracket Buster: Kendrick Moore, aka SILK coached out at Manhattan 2 years ago. He has seen most of these guys play, and this is a tremendous advantage for us. They are a smaller team, but play very physical basketball. They play 8, and Flores is the real deal, but we can get into his head (much like Baily and Diobla (sp?)) so we need people there!

During his ESPNews interview Manhattan coach Bobby Gonzalez referenced Bruce Pearl as "a friend" of his. Does anyone know what the relationship here is?
Flores is a Rutgers transfer, it'd be interesting to find out why. There doesn't appear to be much information about their program available.

No idea, but he must have given Pearl a good reference for Silk, cause he is doing great things here, along with the rest of the staff....

Flores was originally recruited by Manhattan but at the last minute committed to RU after a scholarship opened up. There simply wasn't enough PT for FLores, as there were a couple of other guards on the Scarlet Knights at the time named Dahntay Jones and Todd Billett - both of whom would later transfer to Duke and Virginia, respectively. www.woodenaward.com/playersDetails.cfm?PlayerID=135
