Prairie View is 0-3, but have played some tough competition in Oregon St., Duquesne and Texas A&M. I was trying to find the line on this game to see who the experts say should win, but couldn't find one . I can't believe it, can't find one for this game, yet can find one for Niagara vs. Canisius . Anyway, time for my prediction. UWM - 87 Prairie View - 79 Tell me what you guys think and feel free to add your prediction too.

Tony Mejia just updated his picks for the day on cbs.sportsline.com and has us winning 95 - 61. 34 points!!!, I thought this team was picked to finish top 3 in their conference. I hope Tony is right!!

Predicted to finish in the top-3 of their conference or not, Prairie View is a weak team. They are at the bottom of the Sagarin ratings and are traditionally one of the bottom 25 in the RPI. Their conference is nearly always rated as the worst, or one of the three worst in the country. We should win easily.
UWM - 87 PVAM - 71

UWM by 15 over PV.
NC State didnt look as strong as I had imagined in last nights game against Michigan. Granted they were playing in Ann Arbor and against a tallented U of M team, which they only lost to by a few. I think we can pull this upset off in front of a national TV audience.

Alright, great start to the roadtrip with an 87-70 win...from what I made out during the radio broadcast, mielke had a monster game (10 reb, i think like 6 were offensive) thats the type of bench play we need to win games. Page and McCants both played well, broke the 20 point mark....importantly, they both shot well and seemed to not miss the close layups. As usual, Joah tucker got us goin early...Overall, I think it was a good game, Prairie views record dosent say it all, theyve played some good competion and this was definently a good win for us.

Any road game is a good victory, and to by 17 is even better!
For those of you who listened to the game on the radio...did you use the connection off the UWM website?
Bring on NC STATE! ;D

I missed the start of the radio broadcast, did they mention why Ed didn't start tonight?

Bill, the radio guy, was also surprised as to why he didnt start...he never ended up saying why...my best guess would be to provide a spark off the bench?.....considering the horrid performance from the bench during the SIU game.

Pancratz started in his spot. No idea why...I try and get the scoop around campus tomorrow if no one else posts why tonight.

It looks like Ed missed a weightlifting session and that is why he was benched to start the game.

Great "W"........but we are going to need a little more balanced scoring. There is no doubt that Ed, Dylan, and Joah are going to be the top three scorers in nearly every game, but we need someone else to step up a bit and get into double figures if we want to win the "big" games. those three in the mid teens and no one else in the double digits isn't going to cut it with the style of play that we play. If two of those guys are in the 20's or mid 20's (like they have been), we are ok, but that is putting a lot of pressure on them. They are eventually going to have combined bad games.......they need some more help. Sounds like Nate picked it up and had himself a nice little game. And from the sounds of it, they had some quality big men. Lets keep it rolling against NC St. on Sunday.
