According to this morning's paper, Trevon Hughes of Delafield St. John's has a brace on his left knee and crutches after he sprained the medial collateral ligament during a game Sunday.
The article also says Hughes has decided where he'll go to college and will tell his family when he goes home to visit for the next week and a half.
The most likely choices are Wisconsin or Iowa according to his coach who also said an MRI may be requested to confirm the original diagnosis on the knee.
Who's better for the Badgers - TH with a bum knee or Jerry Smith and his bad back?

i wouldn't be worried about Hughes b/c this is the first injury to that knee to which he should make a full recovery, i'd only be worried if he tore it. If i was Bo Ryan, I'd be worried about Joe Krabbenhoft b/c he's now suffered a third injury to the same foot in about one year's time. not what you'd want from an incoming 4-star prospect.

According to Delafield St. John's Military Academy head basketball coach Brian Richert, his star point guard Trevon Hughes has made a decision where he will play college basketball. However, don't expect the announcement to come today; in about two weeks is more likely. Hughes is down to six schools, but the Wisconsin Badgers and the Iowa Hawkeyes continue to be the front-runners for Hughes' services.
