Now that we have a defense that looks like it will be pressing a lot more this year we need to start up the 5-4-3-2-1 count down every time the opponent inbounds the ball next to the student section. We were very successful with this two years ago, often helping the referee make the 5 second call and causing the other team to throw a bad pass for a turn over. Even if we only help cause 1 or 2 turnovers that could be the game. -Go Band!

i agree with band. you know even as plowed as somepeople maybe at the games you can still count to five, i'm pretty sure but either way i think that it is good idea that when the teams presses that we follow suit and chant for the 5 second call.

Counting down has a better sense of urgency. However, it would be beneficial to ask the ref,
So lets try and talk to him, or get in the front row and figure out how he counts.
