Does anyone know if we have to buy tickets from the UW Madison box office if we want to go to the UW vs. UWM game in Madison? Does UWM get allocated any tickets for students? Thanks.

Last year the athletics department didn't get tickets for the UWM vs. Madison game until a day or two before the game. Last year and again this year, the Badgers will likely sell out of tickets and they won't go on sale to the general public.
But, for non-conference games such as UWM, the tickets are easier to find. There were a lot of people selling tickets outside the Kohl Center for UNDER face value before the UWM game.
For other away games such as Butler, UIC, Loyola, and possibly some other games, the athletic department has had busses for students and fans. The price is usually pretty cheap (around $20) and includes the ride and ticket and sometimes a free shirt.

I just want to reiterate how easy it is to buy tickets for the UWM game in Madison. The last 2 years we've bought from scalpers and had no problems whatsoever. Last year we actually got a pair of lower level seats in the student section for only $10 a piece, other scalpers were trying to practically give away 300 level seats for like $5 at the most. I think between the fact game always seems to fall during finals time and that it isn't a marquee game on the UW schedule keeps the demand pretty low. So anybody thinking of driving over there empty handed should have no concerns about finding good reasonably priced seats on game day.
