don't know how recent this is but rivals.com has UWM interested in this kid. he's a 5-11, 155 lbs. PG from Arrowhead in the class of '07. he was an honorable mention for the AP's all-state team this year and he is currently the 3rd best player in the state (for his class) according to WI Bball Hoops. here's what the site said about him:
"A quick, hard-to-defend point guard who can score in a hurry ... Earned first-team all-conference honors as a sophomore in the Classic Eight Conference ... Has drawn strong recruiting interest from a number of Division I programs ... "The premier point guard in Wisconsin's sophomore class," Davis said. "Charlie is extremely shifty with the ability to score a ton of points in a hurry. Charlie can score well in transition as well as coming off screens in the half-court offense. His stock continues to rise after strong showings in Arkansas and Houston."

WOW! Charlie Chapman at UWM, NO WAY, too small, and he isnt even the 2nd best Chapman at Basketball. His Dad, holds records at Arrowhead, and his older brother Casey Chapman used to be the bigtime player at Arrowhead. I graduated from Arrowhead in 2000 and my brother played basketball with Casey from 7th grade to high school on select and school teams. I used to go to all my brothers games growing up and I am very familiar with the Chapman basketball family. Its amazing that we are talking about this kid on this board, but I got to say that he is probably a great high school player, just like his older brother, but he will never have the body to play serious ball at D-1 level. I don't see him at UWM or any other D-1 school, he will probably go to a Whitewater or other D-3 school. Plus, if you put the kid in a gym for a year and fed him protein shakes and mcdonalds every day, he still wouldn't gain a pound.
