What does everybody think Boo's role will be on the team this year? The guy is super athletic and I would love to see Ed and him in the backcourt at the same time. I can't even think of that many high-major teams that could match the athletic abilty of that backcourt. Do people on the board feel that he has any shot to Start or be the 6th man? IMO, Boo is going to play a huge role this season and will be a key contributer to the Panthers returing to the big dance this season.
Only 1 week until MM!!

I agree..........a Boo/Ed tandem in the backcourt is scary athletic. They may not be the most skilled/talented duo.......... but athletically, I would put them up against almost any 1 & 2 guard combo in the country. I see Boo playing a fairly big/important roll this year. I am not sure why, but I just think he will have a bigger impact than many people are anticipating. Plus, when is the last time we had a PG on the floor who could dunk? ..... Marc Mitchell is the last PG that I remember who actually put them down in games. You might argue that Boo isn't a true point, but if he and Ed are on the court together one of them is likely going to be taking on the PG responsibilities (at least some of the time). And we all know that Ed can throw down a little bit.

I dont think you will see Boo and Ed on the court on the sametime that much..at least not without Hill or Hanson with them. Either guy just isnt a good enough ball handler.
Boo is very athletic. He shoots it ok but is streaky. I see 10-12 minutes a game for him off the bench. You can bring him and Hanson on together and not lose a WHOLE lot. You would lose a lot defensively, however.

Well, I agree with Beano from the standpoint that you won't see a McCants/Davis pairing all that often. Based on what I've heard, however, Boo will be on the court a lot more than 10-12 minutes a game. It sounds like he will essentially replace Kalombo as our sixth man/ spot starter.
